Answer: Most laser hair removal machines only work on dark hair and light skin. That’s why most of the salons would advise you not to have sun exposure or do some tanning prior to the procedure. Otherwise, the treated areas may suffer from skin pigmentation changes if a tanned skin is being treated. As a result, white spots may develop on your skin. This may sound scary but instances like this can actually be avoided if you go to the right clinic. My experience was completely positive and I highly recommend laser hair removal.
